Open IV 4.1
OpenIV Team / 4.1
OpenIV is a versatile modding tool and archive manager designed for PC editions of Rockstar Games titles, most notably Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto IV, and Red Dead Redemption 2. It allows users to open, inspect, and modify the game's encrypted RPF archive files to install custom content such as vehicle models, textures, sound effects, and animations. Equipped with built-in 3D model viewers, a texture editor, and an automated package installer for .oiv files, it serves as the essential core framework for customizing and managing PC game modifications safely through a dedicated mods folder.
RageOpenV
Chiheb-Bacha / Latest
RageOpenV is an open-source alternative to OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi. It works on both GTA V Legacy and GTA V Enhanced, while also improving performance thanks to cached RPF path lookups. Mods can be installed normally through a mods folder, just like with OpenIV.asi and OpenRPF.asi. So simply replace OpenIV.asi or OpenRPF.asi with RageOpenV.asi and leave your mods folder as-is. An alternative approach to adding mods might be added in future releases, which decreases the size of the mods folder.
Custom GameConfig
PNWparksfan & Marcell_glxy / Latest
Add-on mods in GTA V typically require a modified gameconfig.xml to increase various memory pool limits. This repository serves as a central location for known-working gameconfig files for each GTA V update. This fork by Marcell_glxy fixes crashes with LA Revo & 5real.
HeapAdjuster Enhanced
Chiheb-Bacha / Latest
This is a modified version of HeapAdjuster that works on GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced. The purpose of this asi remains the same as the original which is to resolve ERR MEM EMBEDDEDALLOC ALLOC error crashes caused by using more memory than the heap allows. The modified version comes with an ini so users can define the heap size manually as they wish.
Packfile Limit Adjuster Enhanced
Chiheb-Bacha / Latest
This is a modified version of Packfile Limit Adjuster that works on GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced. As "Unknown Modder" mentions on the original legacy version, this would only fix problems stemming from a large number of rpfs, and a good gameconfig and HeapAdjuster Enhanced are still required if you're facing other problems.
No Boundary Limits Enhanced
Chiheb-Bacha / Latest
This is based on No Boundary Limits by alloc8or, and works on GTA5 Legacy and Enhanced. The game has a depth limit of 200. If you go under z=-200 when not underwater and in a vehicle, the game will teleport you back up. If this is removed, there are random explosions all the time, as entities get stuck under the map, which eventually causes the game to crash.
Resource Adjuster
zombieguy / Latest
A collection of patches (some of which are used by FiveM) to improve stability, reduce texture loss and actually use your system's available resources as much as possible. Please note that this script is designed for high end systems with 8GB or more of GPU memory and more than 8GB of system memory available to be used solely by the game, although this is configurable via the included INI file.
Weapon Limit Adjuster
alexguirre / Latest
The game has a hardcoded limit on the number of weapons.meta files that can be loaded and on the total number of weapon components that can be defined, which Rockstar increases everytime new weapons.meta or weapon components are added in DLCs. Reaching any these limits when installing weapon mods makes the game crash while loading. This ASI allows you to increase these limits to prevent those crashes.
